Agent College California Real Estate License School Online offers a full selection of Continuing Education (CE) Courses.

For the first license renewal, all salespersons are required to complete 12 hours of specified education. Agent Collge offers a program to meet this 12-hour requirement we call the "Fourplex." This program consists of four DRE-approved, 3-hour courses in the subjects of Agency, Ethics and Professional Conduct, Trust Fund Handling, and Fair Housing.

Fourplex - First License Renewal Package

12 Hours

These four courses are mandatory for new agents to complete within four years of obtaining their license. Fair Housing, Agency, Ethics, and Trust Fund Handling.

Fair Housing

3 Hours

Fair Housing covers the federal and state fair housing law relating to the sale and rental of property, civil rights, and antidiscrimination laws. Included is a discussion of the accordance of practices considered discriminatory and the importance of affirmative compliance.

Agency

This course presents the fundamentals of agency law; the basic law that governs the relationship between a broker and a buyer or seller in a real estate transaction. Special focus is given to correct agency disclosure.

Ethics

This course discusses required ethical behavior in real estate practice. It begins with an introduction to the concept of ethics, and details real estate law and the commissioners' regulations as they pertain to ethics. Case studies and examples are included.

Trust Fund Handling

This course covers the legal and regulatory requirements for receiving and handling trust funds, and the requisites for maintain a trust fund account. Trust fund record keeping requirements are explained and illustrated.
